eBay store management

You sit still.
The box moves.

DevFamz runs eBay stores end to end — research, sourcing, listings, pricing, dispatch, returns and buyer messages. The account stays in your name. You approve the deal and take your share of what it makes.

Your job

three things, once

Sit down
Not a joke. It is the entire day-to-day commitment.
Sign the deal
One written agreement covering the split, the costs and the notice period.
Keep the account yours
Registered to you, paid out to your bank. We never ask you to sign it over.

After that there is nothing to log into, nothing to pack, and nobody to answer at eleven at night because a buyer wants a refund.

Our job

every day the store is open

  • Category and product research
  • Supplier vetting and price negotiation
  • Margin modelling before anything is bought
  • Listing titles built around real buyer searches
  • Item specifics filled out properly
  • Photography briefs and image clean-up
  • Description templates and store branding
  • Repricing against live competitors
  • Promoted Listings budgets and bids
  • Markdown and coupon events
  • Stock levels and reorder timing
  • Same-day order processing
  • Tracked dispatch inside the advertised handling time
  • Buyer messages answered within the day
  • Returns, item-not-received and not-as-described cases
  • Defect rate, late dispatch and Top Rated Seller standing
  • A monthly statement showing every cost before the split

Two ways to do this

The account is yours in both. The only thing that changes is who puts up the money for stock — and that is what decides the split, because whoever funds the inventory is the one carrying the risk if a line does not sell.

Put in a figure and both deals below divide it live.

£0£50,000 +

This divides a number you chose. It is arithmetic on the splits below, not a projection, a target, or anything we are promising a store will make.

A

You fund the inventory

Your capital, your account, our operation.

You put working capital into your own eBay account. We do everything else. Profit splits down the middle.

B

We fund the inventory

Our capital, your account, our operation.

You bring the account. We bring the stock money and run the store. We carry the buying risk, so we take the larger share.

Nothing

What counts as profit. Net profit means what is left after the cost of the goods, eBay and payment fees, shipping, packaging, returns, refunds and any advertising spend. The split applies to that figure, never to sales. The definition is written into the agreement so there is nothing to argue about later.

How a month runs

The same six stages every month, whichever deal you are on. None of them need you.

  1. 01

    Onboarding

We agree the deal in writing, then take working access to the seller tools. Ownership, bank details and payouts stay with you throughout.

  2. 02

    Research and sourcing

Category and competitor research, supplier vetting, and a margin model for every line before a single unit is bought.

  3. 03

    Listing

Titles written around what buyers actually type, item specifics completed in full, clean images, and a consistent store look.

  4. 04

    Pricing and promotion

Repricing against live competitors, Promoted Listings bids managed against ad spend, and markdown events timed to demand.

  5. 05

    Orders out

Orders processed the same working day, dispatched tracked, and inside the handling time the listing advertises.

  6. 06

    Buyer care and account health

Messages answered within the day, returns and cases handled, and defect rate, late dispatch and seller standing watched all month.

  7. Then you get paid

At the end of each month you get a statement: units sold, revenue, every cost line, the net figure, and the split applied to it. No split is taken on a losing month — a loss carries forward against the next profitable one before anyone is paid.

Screens from stores we run

Seller Hub and account standing from stores we run in the US, UK and Germany — two separate accounts in Germany alone. Taken straight from the seller dashboards. Store names are masked or cropped out; the figures are untouched.

Who runs it

DevFamz is a software engineering company first. We build AI systems, cloud platforms and custom software for clients in the US, UK and the Gulf, from an office registered in England and Wales. The store management runs out of the same company, with the same people and the same habits: scope in writing, a demo or a report every week, and everything handed over in a form you can take elsewhere.

That is worth knowing before you give anyone access to an account with your name and your bank details on it. You can check the engineering side yourself — it is the rest of this website.

Before you sign

The questions people actually ask, answered the way they will be answered on a call. If yours is not here, ask it — nothing about this arrangement is more flattering in person than it is in writing.

Whose account is it?

Yours, in both deals. It stays registered in your name with your bank details and your payouts. We work inside it with the access you grant, and you can revoke that access at any time.

What exactly gets split?

Net profit means what is left after the cost of the goods, eBay and payment fees, shipping, packaging, returns, refunds and any advertising spend. The split applies to that figure, never to sales. The definition is written into the agreement so there is nothing to argue about later.

Who pays for advertising and returns?

Both are costs of running the store, so they come off before the split rather than out of one side of it. Promoted Listings spend, refunds, return postage and write-offs all appear as lines on the monthly statement.

What happens in a month that loses money?

Nobody takes a split. The loss carries forward and clears out of the next profitable month before either side is paid. You are never invoiced for a shortfall.

How do I get out?

Thirty days written notice, either direction. We stop buying, then sell through or hand back the remaining stock depending on whose capital bought it, and hand over listings, supplier contacts and templates. The account was yours the whole time, so there is nothing to transfer back.

Do you guarantee I will make money?

No. eBay is a live marketplace — categories move, competitors undercut, suppliers change price. We commit to how the store is run, not to a number. Anyone promising a guaranteed return on an eBay store is selling you something else.

Tell us what the account looks like

Send the store name, how long it has been open, its current standing and roughly what you can put into stock — or say you have none, and we will price deal B. You get a straight answer on whether the account is worth running and which deal fits, before anyone signs anything.

DevFamz is an independent software engineering company that also operates eBay store management. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by eBay Inc. "eBay" is a trademark of eBay Inc.
